Sampling

The results obtained with the Mycometer-test are referring to a set of standard conditions.

When sampling on surfaces a defined area of 9 cm² are to be swapped thoroughly.
Bulk samples need to be weighed on a scale with at least three digits and depending on the material the results will be expressed per 100 mg or per 300 mg depending on the material.
Results for air samples should be expressed per m³ of air (1000 l of air). 

Three simple steps
1. The cotton swab is wetted in the sterile saline.
2. The area inside the template is thoroughly washed by rubbing the area with the swab.
3. The swab is replaced into the container until analysis.
