 Bactiquant Water is included in the guidelines for handling episodes of exceeding limits on drinking water microbiological parameters in drinking water - 9243 - 21/05 2010. Danish Ministry of Environment.

 Bactiquant water has been selected for participating in the Water Research Foundation Project 4231, 2009 - 2011: Assessing and Enhancing Biological Filtration. The $780,000 project will produce a monitoring and control toolbox and guidance   manual for biological drinking water treatment.

 Bactiquant water has been accepted and is currently undergoing verification in the USEPA - ETV program, 2010. (Environmental Technology Verification Program). The test plan will be posted on the EPA website by end of february - 2011.
