MONITORING TREATMENT EFFICACY IN COOLING TOWERS

In Cooling Towers, airborne- and feed water-contaminants, in combination with organic matter build  up, creates an environment which is very favorable to Growth of microorganisms. HVS Engineering based in Singapore, has conducted an extensive study of contaminant control, using electrochemical activation in a cooling system. In the study Bactiquant analysis, HPC and ATP was used to monitor bacterial levels in the cooling Water.

RISK ASSESSMENT IN CRITICAL CARE FACILITIES

Bactiquant can be used to identify bacterial hotspots in Water systems of Critical Care Facilities. Bactiquant has recently been applied to Building surveys of Critical Care Facilities in Denmark.
